The Ohio State Buckeyes beat that team up north in a classic showdown. The game should have sealed Troy Smith's Heisman Trophy Award, too.

Congratulations. I think it was well said during the broadcast, that this WAS the national championship game this year. Clearly the two best teams, and Ohio State won out. So now they have to wait and not play for 50 days? That makes no sense.

After watching the Cal-USC game, I have to admit that neither of those teams are in the same league as OSU and that team up north.

Dunno why there is such a lag between games. Last time OSU played in the BCS championship, they knew who their foe was immediately (Miami). This year, they may have to wait another two weeks.
